  • 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (200g) packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups (375g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 cups (340g) chocolate chips (semi-sweet or your preferred variety)

Procedure:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper. Cream butter and sugars until smooth, then add eggs and vanilla.
